Every page here is written by the people who build the tools on it, which is why the claims are narrow. We do not say a finish “looks premium”; we say what it does to a highlight, and then render the six finishes side by side with the tool itself so the sentence can be checked against the picture next to it.

Two working rules produce most of what you read on this site.

Any number about someone else’s product is read from their own live page, and printed with the date it was read. Free tiers in this category change within weeks, and a comparison table without dates becomes a source of errors faster than it earns traffic. Where a vendor does not publish a limit, we say that instead of estimating it.

Any claim about our own tools has to be visible in their output. This one came from a failure worth repeating: on a sister project a page described a spacing standard the generator did not actually apply, and the mistake survived because the constant existed in the source. Reading the code is not verification. Running the tool and looking at what comes out is.

The search figures that decide which pages exist at all come from Ahrefs, US market, measured on 6 August 2026. Where a page targets a phrase we have not measured, it says so rather than inventing a number.
